Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Baby Cal mobile application ("the app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The app

Baby Cal is a free app that displays your baby's age and milestones and provides a home-screen widget and optional on-device reminders. All data you enter is stored locally on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where permitted by law;
Use the app in any unlawful manner or for any unlawful purpose;
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app or its content.

4. Your content

Any information you enter — such as your baby's name, date of birth, and photo — remains yours and stays on your device. You are responsible for the content you add and for backing up your device if you wish to keep it.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders will always be delivered on time. The app is not a medical or developmental tool and should not be used as a substitute for professional advice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app.

7. Changes to the app and these Terms

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms at the same URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the app, in whole or in part, at any time.
